Rivals Of Aether Has Workshop Support Now And It’s The Most Beautiful Thing I’ve Ever Seen

Look at this. That’s Paper Mario fighting Sans from Undertale with a gun. In a smash based game that’s amazing. Finally all my dreams have come true.

This is from the Workshop Beta of Rivals of Aether, going on now. It was announced in a Steam Community post in August and launched on September 18th. And people have been busy. There are already 191 characters (some a Work in Progress) on the Steam Workshop for anyone who owns the game to go download.

You do have to tweak the game first though. To activate the beta you have to right-click on Rivals of Aether and click properties. From there, you press the Betas tab and scroll all the all the way down on the drop down menu until you find Workshop beta. Click it and close the menu and the game will update. Once that’s done open the game and go to VS and you should see a new icon that’s a tool.

I forgot about it for a few days due to being hype about it but not seeing a release date. But since I found out a few days ago, I haven’t been able to put it down except for a few choice games. I need to see how Sans with a Gun takes on Super Paper Mario. How 100% Accurate Fox outplays Ash who plays like Little Mac and feels great. How Barack Obama leads in the revolt against Jigglepuff with Lazers(Yes that’s a real thing). If you’ve been looking for a Smash like game without dropping $300 for a Switch and then another $60 for the game I cannot recommend Rivals enough. Now excuse me while I go sink unhealthy numbers into this game.
